The Role: Bunker Trader – Panama / Americas (and beyond)
As a Bunker Trader at Sonan Energy Panama, you’ll play a vital role in building and managing your own client portfolio while contributing directly to the group’s continued growth across the Americas. You will work in a collaborative, multicultural environment alongside top industry professionals, with the flexibility to operate remotely or from Panama City.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase, sell, and supply marine fuels and lubricants
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Negotiate prices and close deals with accuracy and professionalism
- Identify new business opportunities in emerging and existing markets
- Provide tailored, customer-centric solutions in a fast-paced industry
Candidate Profile
Professional Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience in marine fuel trading or related commercial roles
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Skilled in building trust and managing client relationships
- Ability to identify market trends and act quickly on opportunities
