Veteran Industry Leader Hernán Ortiz Appointed as Managing Director
Spearheading the Panama operations is Hernán Ortiz, a seasoned maritime executive with over 30 years of experience in marine fuel supply, operations, and leadership across the Americas, Middle East, and Europe.
Ortiz previously held key roles at Glander International Bunkering, one of the largest bunkering houses in the Middle East. During his 16-year tenure, he served as Managing Director in Spain and previously as Business Development Manager and Trader in Dubai. His depth of experience and market knowledge make him ideally suited to lead Sonan’s expansion in the region.
