The Role: Bunker Trader — Athens, Greece
You will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of marine fuel clients while driving trading operations and supply chain coordination. As part of Hawks Group’s global team, you’ll collaborate across offices to tap into international market opportunities and support the company’s ambitious growth in the Mediterranean.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute bunker trading strategies.
- Build and manage relationships with shipowners, operators, and charterers.
- Coordinate end-to-end supply chain from enquiry to delivery.
- Liaise with global suppliers and logistics partners to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor market trends and provide clients with daily pricing updates.
- Manage receivables and ensure timely collections.
- Collaborate with international teams to identify cross-market trading opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in bunker trading or marine fuels.
- Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Greek.
- Able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience working with international teams is a plus.
