Exclusive Refinery-Grade Fuels from Sarroch
Saras’ bunkering marine fuels are sourced exclusively from the company’s Sarroch refinery in Sardinia, one of the most advanced in Europe. With the Mediterranean Emission Control Area (ECA) now officially in effect, vessels operating in the region are required to burn 0.10% sulfur fuels. Saras supports this transition by supplying compliant products, including Ultra Low Sulfur Fuel Oil (ULSFO), ensuring shipowners stay ahead of environmental and regulatory requirements under IMO MARPOL Annex VI and EU directives.
