The Role: Supply (Bunker) Trader — Singapore

As Monjasa’s Supply Trader in Singapore, you will be part of a highly professional and team-oriented trading floor, contributing directly to the company’s purchasing platform in Asia’s key bunker hubs. You will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, sourcing new partners for back-to-back operations, and supporting timely and efficient fuel deliveries. This role provides international exposure and may involve occasional travel (1–2 times per year).

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong and stable relationships with bunker suppliers across the region.
  • Daily Trading Operations: Collaborate with colleagues locally and internationally to ensure smooth trading activities.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and engage new suppliers to enhance back-to-back operations.
  • Operational Coordination: Ensure timely delivery of bunker fuel through effective supplier and customer communication.
Candidate Profile

Professional Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in the bunker and/or shipping industry is essential.
  • Proven experience in sales, including customer handling and business development.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages such as Mandarin are advantageous.
